This is a useful vintage pair of tables dating to the latter half of the 20th century.
Made of solid wood the tables can be stowed away when not in use and are ideal for use in a lounge or dining room.
Each table is carved to the top with a rural scene featuring an Ox pulling a cart.
The table tops are inset so you could add a piece of glass to each if desired.
I have hand painted the tables in my own mix of water based black paint before very lightly distressing the paintwork and then finishing with clear wax for a smooth and fairly matt finish.
