Small Green Painted Sideboard Cupboard with cup handles
Small Green Painted Sideboard Cupboard with cup handles
This is a useful vintage wooden sideboard dating to the late 20th century.
Made of oak, mdf and mixed woods it is solid, well made and fairly heavy.
It is fairly compact and could be used in a variety of ways, perhaps as a television stand or to store hifi equipment.
The front of the sideboard is fitted with two raised panel doors set under two drawers which are finished with later antique cup handles.
One drawer is designed for storing cutlery, it is lined with green baize and partitioned.
The cupboard doors open to reveal a fixed shelf on the left and an adjustable shelf on the right. The sideboard is finished with a shaped base plinth.
This piece has been hand painted in a mid olive green coloured eggshell paint before being lightly distressed and then darkly waxed for protection.
The finish is solid colour with a mid sheen.
CONDITION
The sideboard is in solid structural condition with some small cosmetic marks of age and use, mainly to the top.
The left hand cupboard shelf has been repositioned higher up at some point in time.
