This is a small old pine chest dating to the late 19th century. Made of pine the chest was used as a tool chest when it was first made but could be used for crafting or as a rustic keepsake box. The chest has a deep lift up lid which opens to reveal three small pull out drawers which are finished with brass ring handles, the central drawer handle is a later replacment. The chest has an old painted blue finish which has chipped off over time to give a wonderfully distressed finish.
The chest measures 22cms high x 43cms wide x 25cms deep
It is generally in solid well used condition with many marks of age and use.
