A superb large vintage 1960s bohemian style brass tray coffee table from India.
Quite a rare example as the trays tend to be round.
The table consists of a large removable oblong brass tray which is highly decorated with embossed designs and a fluted edge. The tray sits on top of a folding teak base which is finished with brass terminals.
The tray is large and heavy, due to its size it warps slightly when lifted off.
CONDITION
This piece is in solid structural condition.
The wood has various marks and the brass tray has some scratches, a few slight corrosion spots and various areas of wear. It has been polished recently but will dull and age with regular use.
