Antique West Country Tavern Table with Cast Iron Base

This is a handsome late Victorian tavern table from the West Country.

Set on a heavy cast iron base the table has a rectangular top made from solid mahogany.

The base is very decorative and has an old black painted finish which has worn over time.

The table is fairly shallow and could be used as a console, bar table or perhaps in a bathroom as a vanity unit.

The mahogany top has been refinished with Osmo-oil for a durable and hardwearing finish.

The base has been left as we found it.

CONDITION

The table is in solid structural condition.

The painted base has signs of wear and age.

depth- 45cms
