Wooden Engineering Box

  • £55.00

This is a useful vintage box which dates to the mid 20th century.

It was originally designed to store electrical equipment but would make a useful tool or storage box.

The box is made of mahogany and is fairly compact, the lid has a small brass plaque with a Scottish manufacturers name of 'Stepps' who were based in Glasgow.

Inside there are some old labels to the lid.

The wood has a nicely wax polished finish.

The box is in good condition, there are various marks to the interior and the two small catches to the lid are missing, it would have originally had small hooks to keep the lid closed.
