Victorian Table Top Cabinet with Carved Doors
This is a handsome little antique table top cabinet which dates to the late 1800s.
The cabinet is made of solid walnut and is an attractive piece which could be used in any room, perhaps as a herb cabinet in a kitchen or for storing medicines in a bathroom.
The cabinet is very decorative and has two small lockable carved doors to the front which open to reveal two drawers to the base, each decorated with a carved quatrefoil and a small brass handle.
The top of the cabinet has an attractive galleried top and the carved details are highlighted with gold.
The wood has a nicely wax polished finish.
The cabinet has various small marks of age and use.
The top has a a small dent in the wood and the left hand door has a sliver of wood missing near the lock.
The key works but is a little stiff.
