Small Antique Reproduction Pedestal Desk with Leather top, Brights of Nettlebed

This is a handsome little antique style pedestal desk which dates to the late 20th century.

This quality reproduction piece was made by Brights of Nettlebed and is well made and fairly compact in size.

The desk is made from mahogany, mdf and mixed woods and is a useful piece that will make a nice statement piece in an office or study. It has the benefit of splitting into three parts making it easy to transport and position in any home.

The desk is set on twin pedestals, each housing three narrow drawers which are all finished with atttractive brass drop handles set on round back plates.

Above the pedestals are three further drawers and the top of the desk is inset with a green leather scriver decorated with gold tooling. The drawers are lockable and the key is present.

The wood has a French polished finish which has a nice sheen.


The desk is in good solid structural condition with various small cosmetic marks of age and use.

There are some marks and wear to the leather scriver and various small marks and dents to front edge of the desk.

The measurements are taken at the widest points and the desk separates into three parts.
