This is a useful industrial looking chest of drawers dating to the late 20th century.

It is fairly compact and is well made, solid and heavy, made from solid pine.

The front of the chest is fitted with four spacious drawers which are all finished with later aged metal cup handles. The drawer interiors are in clean condition and the drawers run well.

The chest is set on a deep base plinth and the top has a rounded edge.

I have hand painted the exterior in my own mix of water based botanical green paint paint before distressing the finish for an aged look and applying dark wax to give some depth and character.

The paintwork is solid colour and the finish has a mid sheen.

CONDITION

The chest is in good structural condition with some small marks to the top.

The handles are later antique replacements.
