Georgian Style Oak Dresser Base Sideboard by Titchmarsh and Goodwin
This is a superb antique reproduction sideboard which dates to the late 20th century.
Made of solid oak it is heavy, solid and very well made, a fine piece of hand crafted English furniture made in the Georgian style by Titchmarsh and Goodwin.
This piece has an evocative country look which will suit a large room such as a dining room or hallway.
The sideboard has three doors to the front featuring brass H shaped hinges. The doors open to reveal a single wide shelf.
Above the doors are three spacious drawers with ornate drop handles set on shaped back plates.
One drawer bears the original brass makers plaque.
The wood has a naturally waxed finish which has a good sheen.
This piece is in solid structural condition with various small marks of age and use to the wood. There are quite a few scratches to the top and some small dents but generally it is in rather good condition.
top shelf measures 21cms high, lower shelf measures 33.5cms high
top shelf is 30cms deep
