This is a very characterful chest which dates to the19th century.

Made of pine and mixed woods this piece was originally designed for use as a specimen chest but in modern times could serve a variety of purposes in any home.

The chest is classically styled, the front fitted with eleven graduated drawers all finished with small turned wooden handles.

The chest is set on a deep base plinth and the top has a moulded edge.

The wood has a stained and wax polished finish which shows a lot of age and character.


The chest is in solid structural condition with a lot of marks of age and use.

The finish is very characterful with a lot of scratches and dents, please take a look at all of the photos to get an idea of its general condition.

One of the handles has been repaired and the drawers have pencil markings to the bases.
