Antique Pitch Pine Low Filing or Record Cabinet with Sliding Doors

  • £395.00

This is a unusual antique cabinet which dates to the late Victorian era.

Made of solid pitch pine the cabinet is solid, heavy and well made and could serve a variety of purposes in any home.

The cabinet is wide and low and could be used as office storage, a tv cabinet, or perhaps as a hall cabinet, it is low enough to be used as a seat and would look good with a seat cushion added to the top.

To the front are double panelled sliding doors which open to reveal partitioned interiors. The partitions are fixed into place and can be used for storing files or records. The doors are finished with recessed brass handles and old key holes, sadly the key is no longer present.

The wood has a natural looking waxed finish which is quite smooth and matt.

This piece is in solid structural condition with many small marks of age and use to the wood.

The interior has marks of age and use.
