This is an attractive Chinese temple jar with stand which dates to over 100 years old.

I really don't know a lot about it, I bought it because I liked it and it stood in the window of our cottage for many years.

The jar is heavy and solid and simply decorated with attractive blue flowers. The top looks as though it has been reduced down at some point in time, I have no idea why.

The jar is set on a beautiful decorative pot stand made of dark hardwood.

CONDITION

The pot is generally in good condition

MEASUREMENTS

Height- 18.5cms plus 4.75cms for the stand

Diameter- 15cms at the base,11cms at the top

the stand measures

17cms in diameter and the recess 14.5cms in diameter
